Looking After Our Playground

The great outdoors is our playground, therefore, it is within our interest to do everything we can to preserve it. We pride ourselves on minimising our impact on the natural environment to ensure future generations get to enjoy the benefits as we have.

WHAT WE ARE DOING

To make the most of your Fenland Adventure experience you will need plenty of energy, therefore, we ensure everyone is well fed throughout. This ultimately means we find ourselves with left over food. To reduce waste, any perishable foods are donated or given away, an example of this is our fruit boxes. If you know of someone who would benefit from a fruit box, please get in touch.

Some of our activities require us to light fires, sometimes, multiple fires a day. All fires are lit in fire pans to ensure minimal damage to the ground and surrounding area. Any large fires are kept to designated fire pits with ash disposed of in a responsible way.

We print as little as possible, our policies and procedures have been written with this in mind.

We actively recycle as much as possible, general waste is kept separate from mixed recycling to ensure it can be easily recycled.
