Eligibility to Reclaim VAT

The school must be VAT registered to reclaim VAT, this typically applies to maintained schools, academies, and independent schools.

Only expenses directly related to the educational purpose of the trip can have VAT reclaimed. This includes transportation, accommodation, and entry fees for educational venues.

When booking your trip with us, it is essential that the information provided for invoice matches the school's registered address, your invoice will display the VAT charged. Under normal circumstances, a VAT invoice is sufficient for a VAT claim, where required, a receipt can be provided.
